MAX with sound input

How can I use MAX (the Measurement and Automation program) to test if the computer is able to read voltage changes via the sound card (fed into the computer via the microphone jack). Please walk me through the process...

MAX is for NI cards only.  Is your sound card an NI card; I don't think they make one?

Open the example finder and look under Hardware Input and Output>Sound. The sound functions can be found on the Graphics & Sound>Sound palette.
