Unbundle By Name Clusters Of Clusters Scripting

Solved!
Go to solution

So I'm hoping I'm missing something, rather than this being a LabVIEW limitation.  I want to drop an Unbundle by name using scripting, then wire it up to a cluster, and set the unbundle by name, to be an element inside a cluster, of that cluster.  I can do all of this except the cluster of cluster part.

Attached is a VI saved in 2015 with an unbundle wired already to a cluster with a cluster in it.  I have a second VI that tries to modify that VI by setting the unbundle name to be the inner cluster.  When I do this I use the Element Names property setting it to Core.Event Error where Core is a cluster, and Event Error is another.  The VI also returns the available names and the inner cluster isn't listed as an option.  Is this not possible to create a unbundle by name which unbundles a cluster in the cluster?  Thanks.

Try writing to the propery "Full Element Names[]"

"If you weren't supposed to push it, it wouldn't be a button."
