Three way selector control

Is there any way that I could create or import a three way selector control in my labview application. The three way selector is used to adjust the pressure level of my application. The three levels are low, normal and high. I tried using the knob control but was unable to change the tickmarks of the knob. Please email me at pwdt2002@yahoo.com if you have any suitable solutions or suggestions for me. Thank you very much.

Hi Don,
how about using a slider - right click and select text labels to make it more useable? - A knob would also do - example attached

The easiest way is to take a slider control, make it an integer.

Set the data range from 0 to 2, step must be 1. Adjust the colors and layout
in the customize control window. Hide the range, and add three labels to it;
low, normal and high.

This way you can make a nice 0/1/2 control. No refs, no attribute nodes,
etc.

Regards,

Wiebe.

or even easier: use an enum...

Along the same lines, you can also customize a knob or slider to show
text beside the ticks. I believe the last popup item is something about
Text Labels. Check that and your slide/knob becomes integer and it has
two labels min and max. The digital display has also been turned into a
ring control. You can use the labeling tool to type in different
strings, and you can popup to add more, or you can just make the items
go into the ring using shift-enter or popups and they will
automatically
show up on the scale.

I have attached a VI with three two simple buttons, and a third option, a radio button. I didn't include the code for the radio button, as there is a great deal of material out there for creating them, and I'm too lazy to write it up for you...

None of these buttons use reference, property nodes, etc. The instructions for creating them are on the screen. If these don't do the trick, let me know.

By the way, these buttons took all of about 30 seconds each to create.
