Temporary storage

Hi,

Sorry if my question is too basic.

I currently need to create a temporary storage to store my current input distance (ex:8cm), after that i will key in the new input (ex:10cm). I tend to use the stored 8cm to compare to the new input -- 10cm when i input the 10cm to make the system create a displacement profile just for 2cm (10-8).

So may i know how to create a temporary storage to store the value and the value will keep replacing once i enter new input ?

You may want to take a look at my Action Engine Nugget. Action Engines let you store and share data. THey are based on Shift Registers which also may be of use in your app.
