Dear  All

 

I want to control temeprature of a heater , that is ON/OFF controller and make ON/OFF AC supply to  heater element.  I  have DAQ 6008, K-type temp sensor and realy with coil voltage of 12Vdc , so can i drive my realy coil using the output voltage from the DAQ? if not any solution ..?

The USB-6008 digital outputs are 5 V and low current so they cannot drive the relay directly.  Try connecting a driver IC like the ULN2000 series between the DAQ device and the relay.  You will also need a 12 V power supply.
