TCP/IP address

hello.

First excuse me if I will ask a basic question. I would try to communicate with a spectrum analyser ANRITSU via RJ45 ethernet, by using the visa library. So I'm using the example provided by the document. The probleme is that I need the TCP/IP address of the instrument, but I really don't know how to get it. I would be happy if someone could tell me how to do.

You set the IP from the instrument's menu if you want a fixed IP. I think it also supports DHCP so if you have a DHCP server, it will get it from that. Then you should be able to get if from one of the instrument's menu. This should all be documented in the manual.
