Sound card VIs ??

I believe there are sound card VIs available or included in LabView 5
(I saw a reference to them somewhere).
Did I miss them or do I need to download them. If the latter can
someone tell me what I need to download. Also are they specific to SB
or something or wil they work with a 24 bit card?

The sound VIs are included in LV5.1, which was released earlier this year.
LV5 was released early last year, and there are sound VIs located on the
NI ftp site for it.

ftp site is ftp.natinst.com
login as anonymous
password is email address
cd to support/labview/vis/windows/50 or something close

They use the multimedia API; so they should work with any
card that has support for it.

I have downloaded the VI library. There is not much documentation
other than the VIs themselves so will have to see what I can do.

The soundcard VIs for LabVIEW 5.0 can be donwloaded here.

More current LabVIEW version have it all built in, no download needed.
