Serial VISA - without installing all drivers

Dear friends, I want to build my serial (RS-232) application with serial VISA but I do not want to install the softaware VISA, because then I would  have all the files resulting after an installation of VISA, because I need to run my app. in a PC where LabVIEW is not installed. Also I do no like to install NI MAX.

Answered here. If you want to develop with VISA, there is no choice except to install the VISA run-time. The serial only run-time is much smaller than the full VISA or run-time.
