Perforce and LabVIEW 7.1 Base

Is it possible to use perforce with LabVIEW 7.1 Base? I have installed perforce  but the source code control menu does not appear.

Perforce is supported in the Professional version only (or one of the Pro Suites of course).

While you have 7.1 Base, I believe you can still use Perforce for software code control.  You just do not have the direct SCC menu hook to it.  You'll have to check files in and out from Perforce rather than from Labview directly.
