Is there a way to select multiple files via a dialog box?
The file i/o VIs don't seem to have the capability to shift-
select files.

Apparently not.

There is a work around provided by National Instruments. Check the Multiple File Selection Dialog Box example located at NI Developer Zone.

I don't know if this is solved for LabVIEW 6.1.
