DB Conectivity Toolset for LV6 crashes

I'm using DB tools connectivity toolset with LV6 to log data to a database.
The application crashes randomly, with the error message:

Error -2147467259 DB Tools Open Connec (String).vi ->.....

Possible Reasons:
Exception occurred in Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers [Microsoft][ODBC dBase Driver] Could not find installable ISAM...

Database version is dBase5, and the driver chosen is "Microsoft dBase driver (*.dbf)".
Has anyone experienced this? Any help is appreciated.

I had a similar error - ensure mdac_typ.exe has been ran - this sorted it out for me.
