The example option shown in the option is to direct you to the example of the fucntion, if you want to add the your VI to the example finder the see this LINK

Amit, thank you very much. The question is this, when you create a subVI, and make an example using this subVI. Is it possible to associate this example to subVI?

Hi, I guess, You need to think about, how you can add SUBVI documentation to the LabVIEW help chm file, because for the functions where this ‘Example’ option is enabled,after you click ‘Example’ they first open this LabVIEW help CHM(Detailed Help) and then you get the option for ‘Find Example’ .
