Sand Box has stopped working error when using System Exec.vi with wait until completion is true

I get the following error message in Windows 7 "Sand Box has stopped working" when using System Exec.vi with wait until completion set to true, if I set it to false there is no error message.

Is this error related to the Cryengine sand box?? If you can you give us more info about your application??

Hi Mart,

The program downloads a hex file to a piece of equipment through an RS485 serial port. I did not write the program but if there is specific information you would need I can ask the software engineer.

This Sandbox has stopped working error message does not appear if I run the software standalone or if I call it using System Exec.vi with wait until completion set to false but I cannot get any feedback from the software if it passes or fails.

mmm well System Exec.vi simulates a DOS command window, can you run the sandbox from the cmd window using the same commands without any errors?

I don't think that KB is quite the issue you are dealing with.

Are you using an antivirus software that sandboxes applications?
