SR810 data dropout

Hello, 

I am acquiring data from a Stanford Research SR810 Lock-in Amp via GPIB.

I get spurious depouts of data intermittently.  

What could be the problem please.

Your code needs to be rewritten with VISA functions and eliminate the worthless stacked sequence structure.

Data Dropout:  Unhandled GPIB error prevents GPIB reads and writes resulting in null data to sequence frame 3 and the DDT wire is empty.

Get that error chain on a SR at the outer while loop and find whats wrong.
