The function (on the Numeric, Complex) Palette, Complex to Re/Im, takes the Complex number (Z, by convention) and gives you Real (X) and Imaginary (Y). Complex In, X, Y Out. I think if you put a Complex Array in (I haven't tested this, so try it yourself), you'll get an X and Y Array out.

An x/y chart needs a bundle of arrays for x and y.
If you want a "live" x/y chart, you have to keep your own history and build the array as you go.
