All I can say is that if I ever want to graph the ASCII codes of each character of a string, then I know how to do it.

Hi Dennis,
The code works when i run it continuously and change the index row and to see it in a real time i put a delay of 0.25 seconds. However, is there a way of showing the value on the graph striaght after i press run.

Why do you keep wiring up the Index Array function that way? Do you or don't you want to read the entire file and display that? If you do, wire up the Index Array like in my example and like I already explained. What you have there does not make any sense. Even if you wanted to display one value at a time, it doesn't make any sense. Reading the same file over and over again is just silly.
Also, do not use the run continuous button!
