Found the article...

I don't think that I really have a point any more except that it would be a
little easier to have the position as well as the size available for a graph
control plot area. It would make it easier to position the control if you
know the position of the plot area. It's only because I need to line the
graphs up.

You can change the position of the graph on the front panel and the width and height of the graph using property nodes. The attached graph shows how to do this.
