Program PIC18F microcontroller with LabView?

As everyone seems to be saying, using a Serial connection is probably your best bet. I have a friend in university who is creating a similar application in LabVIEW and he really loved the fact that he could make use of the VISA Serial example VIs to quickly debug his device software. I've had some experience with using Serial on PICs and as far as I can tell, most devices in the 18F series offer native support via the device USART (Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter). The only external circuitry I think that you'd require is perhaps a signal buffer to help increase the driving strength of the Tx/Rx lines.

Hi,

I am trying to write data in a memory card through MICROSD adapter for MICROSD ATMEGA32 datalogger. But with HYPERTERMINAL software the card is

not getting detected. Can anyone please help me to sort out the problem. I am attaching the ISP connections and the circuit of the data logger. Please

have your response.

Since this question seems to have nothing to do with LabVIEW, you may have more luck posting in a forum specific to your hardware.

Hello Rajedran92,

Is your project related to PIC18F? Could you please create a new thread for this issue and provide a more detailed description of what you need help with? If you want to know how to create a project in LabVIEW, maybe this article can be useful to you: https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/managing-a-project-in-labview.html

Please have a look, and if you still have questions please start a new forum thread.

Thank you.
