Problems when running Modbus Example from LabVIEW Modbus Library

I need to stablish communication between a computer and a PLC using Modbus RTU. First, I downloaded a modbus library for LabVIEW, version 8.2 ( ni_modbus8_2.exe )

The installation was all right. But when I try to run the MB Ethernet Example Slave.vi to pass data with MB Ethernet Example Master.vi, LabVIEW paralizes my computer with 99% CPU runtime. Even when I stop the VI, LabVIEW remains running at 99% and not responding anymore.

I don't know what I'm missing... This is a bug driver? I'm using a LabVIEW version 8.2.1 with DSC module.

Hi Klein,

When during the running of this program do you notice the CPU usage increase to these levels on your computer?  And to understand your set-up clearly, are you running the slave vi on your computer and the master vi on your PLC?  Also, do you notice this behavior on a computer to computer connection, or just when communicating between the computer and the PLC?
