Problems building an executable with XControls and .NET Controls

Hello,
a configurable toolbar is something I miss in LabVIEW. So I decided to build my own toolbar with .NET Framework help (ToolStrip in "System.Windows.Forms" of .NET 2.0). I didn't want to expose the .NET wiring to the LabVIEW user and wrapped up everything into a XControl. The control is working fine, dispite the hack to create an event when clicking a toolbar button. But it only works inside the LabVIEW Development environment. It is not possible to build an executable with the attached project. Maybe someone can help me finding a solution.

Thanks
Frank

Your code seems to have problems beyond that. I tried it in the LabVIEW 8.20 and it crashed constantly, often taking LabVIEW with it. Invalid references all over the place.

You are right. I just copied the code to a clean machine with LabVIEW 8.20. The first launch of the test VI made LabVIEW crash immediately. LabVIEW also crashes when clicking a button a few times. It never crashed with LabVIEW 8.2.1 though. Sorry for the invalid references, but I did not pay a lot of attention on error handling or closing .NET references yet. I am currently trying to solve the executable issue.

I doubt you'll get a response.

It looks like mufr hasn't logged onto the forums in 2 1/2 years.
