Peak Detector Algorithm

Hi,

Anyone knows which algorithm used in the Peak Detector VI in LabVIEW 2011?
I used this VI in my code, and now i am mathematically documenting it, and needing more information about the method used by this VI to find the peaks.

Read the detailed help.  It mentions fitting a quadratic to the peak.

Did you also read the Dev Zone document which is linked from the detailed help?

I do not know of anything more specific. If you call NI Support, it may be possible for an Applications Engineer to get details of the algorithm from R&D if they are not proprietary.
