I'm not clear on your application. I'd like to gather some more information:
-What kind of DAQ device are you using?
-Is your ARM processor a single chip or is it on a development board?
-How are you connecting to the Arm processor from your DAQ device? (Hardware)
-How are you establishing communication to the ARM? (Serial/GPIB)
