Output modules and protection

Hi,

I am very new to NI software and hardware. I used to design systems using Rockwell products in my previous company.

Now, for the first time, I am designing a system using NI cards. I will be using NI 9476 digital output card and 9482 electro mechanical relay output card. I used to protect each port using a slim control relay or miniature circuit breaker (please see attached pictures). I plan on doing the same thing with NI cards. Would it be a correct approach?

Any thoughts or comments would be highly appreciated.

Oh, joy, dark blue on dark grey.  As they say in Manhattan, fuggedabbadit.  [The relatively small font on Digital Output doesn't help, either ...].
