OPC-UA: Support for Registered read/write?
OPC-UA supports different ways of obtaining a tag value:
- Basic read
- Registered read
- Subscription
I can see support for basic reads and subscriptions in the LabVIEW OPC UA toolkit; is there a way to do registered reads too? (The OPC-UA Registered Read is analogous to the NI CVT Library's Indexed Read)
The screenshot below from a document about Siemens PLCs, but the same protocols are available in other devices too
