Hi,

Yes. It still doesn't work.

I tried it uncompiled (both comptuers have LV 2011). It doesn't work uncompiled either. When running in development env. it shows a window witha progress bar for the deployment of the variable. However, it doesn't update.

Thanks,

Danielle

I have not used the aliases files.  Can  you post your example code, and I can try them on my two PCs, I only have LV2012.

Cheers

Hi,

I used the example code given with no change. Both computers had the full example. In one I ran Publisher. In the other I ran Subscriber.

I did deploy and register computer in both computers. I also added all IPs in Tools\Option\VI Server\Machine Access list.

Thanks,

Danielle

Hi,

Is there anything specific I should look for in ipconfig -all?

Could the problem be that both computers are on a local work network? Maybe the sharing is suppressed in some way?

Thanks,

Danielle

Sorry, don't know why it does not work for you.  Firewall off?

Can you try different PCs?   I only have LV 2012, if you can post your code I can have a go on my two PCs.  I don;t think there is a problem with the code but just in case.

Cheers
