NI USB 6009

hi,

need: virtual switch of 24 VDC relay using NI USB 6009.

i need to switch (13) 24VDC relay using the ni usb 6009, but the problem is there is only 12 available

digital output in my device (P0.0 .... P1.3). all 12 is actually working but i need 1 more for the 13th relay. 

can i use other pin in my device (ni usb 6009) to switch the 13th relay?

any suggestion?

You could use one of the analog outputs and output either 0 or 5 V for either on or off.  Of course you will need external driver circuitry to be able to control a 24 VDC relay.  But you probably need external circuits for the digital output lines as well.

The USB-6501 has 24 DIO lines.  Maybe it would be better-suited to your task.

how can i do that? can you provide me sample program for analog output if possible..

Look up in the example finder for out to to analog output with DAQmx.  You'll want 1 channel 1 sample.  Instead of true or false you'll write out 5 or 0.
