I have a problem that is very similar to the one listed in :
https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/bugs/25/ni-license-manager-2025-q3-known-issues.html
Unfortunately for me it is not cosmetic. I am unable to use the license server to activate or use labview or TestStand

A lot more details are needed to help diagnose.
Did it work with a previous version? What software and version is your license server using?
This one happened to me with 2025Q1: NI License Manager and Volume License Manager Compatibility - NI

Currently this issue is on 2 PC's one is a fresh install of 2025 LV/TS
the other is still using LV2022 and TS2023, but was forced to upgrade the license manager to 2025 (not sure what this user did to trigger that upgrade)
All other installs 3-4 of them are using LV2022 and TS2023 and work fine.
I am trying to get feedback from the server manager on which version he has installed. my guess is license server 2024 based on what I can see.

No, it would likely be Volume License Manager 3.3 as License Manager 2025Q3 is compatible with VLM 2023Q1. My exact situation was out license server was running an older version of FlexNet. I think they have since updated the server, I just haven't verified yet. I'm also trying to push the manager to install the updated license.

most likely this is the solution. I have a meeting set up with our IT department to discuss how to upgrade the server

I am having an identical issue, but a colleague running the same version of NI License manager (2025 Q3) is able to successfully connect to the volume server. Would there be any other potential cause of this disconnect/additional troubleshooting I could do?
