NI 8451 problem

Hi 

I got a problem with a ni 8451 device.

When I look in MAX or Device manager, it shows up with the text "NI USB-8451 Firmware Loader" and the Led is off.
A good device is showing "NI USB-8451" and LED is flashing.

The bad device stopped working and I don't know why.

That's a Hardware Problem.  This is the LabVIEW Forum, dedicated to LabVIEW (a Software platform).

It does sound like you have a bad 8451 (that's the NI SPI Master device, isn't it?).  I'd suggest contacting NI Support (support.ni.com) and filing a Support Request (they do NI Hardware, as well as LabVIEW software).  You can talk to a knowledgeable Technical Support Engineer who can help diagnose the problem and suggest how it can be fixed.
