Hello,
Ok, I see what you're saying from the screenshots, and I do see a similar affect on my machine where only the last couple of letters appear, but that's only when I am actually typing the new label... as soon as I click away, it's ok! Well, ok is relative term here, because I think you raise a valid point about the bad behavior:
1. While editing the label, there's no reason for most of it to disappear - that fact that it comes back on my machine is consolation.
2. When it does come back, if it's too long, it doesn't center itself, which is not aesthetically pleasing... point taken away from consolation there 🙂
You can see this in the attached screenshots, appropriately named. With that said, I will file a corrective action request on this so that R&D can take a look at it - the behavior is the same in LabVIEW 8.0 on my machine as well.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience you're having with this. As a workaround in the short term, you could leave the actual label for the graph axis blank, and place a free label there instead. You can right click on the free label and use the counterclockwise operation to rotate it so that it appears in the correct orientation, and you could even highlight both the graph and the label when you have it positioned, and group the objects to they move together as you arrange and edit your front panel.
I hope this is sufficient for you, and thank you for alerting the community to this!
Best Regards,
JLS
