Labview 8.2

I am a contractor for Teledyne FLIR and need to download the old LabVIEW version 8.2 which is no longer publicly available. Can someone from NI create a download link for me. Teledyne has a volume license agreement in place with NI. Can you send me the link to my work email account at walter.rebsch@teledyne.com?

You should talk with your Teledyne VLA admin, they should provide that old LabVIEW version to you…

My desk is next to his. He doesn't have any of the old installers. The physical media we have only goes back to 2009.

Still, I am pretty sure the VLA admin would have a way to request that version from NI. 

(I am puzzled that the download site only goes back to 9...)

Figure out who your NI Account Manager is and ask them. They should be able to bug the right people.

I'm surprised it goes back that far. Supposedly, NI's plan is to limit the download site to the currently supported versions because of CRA requirements.

With the same argument NI better close down this forum. Otherwise they are liable to encourage/enable users to use the old flawed stuff ..

There is nothing flawed with that version. We have legacy applications that run legacy hardware that isn't always supported in the new versions. They just want to update a few constants in the code that were hard coded. I don't want to open a big can of worms upgrading the version.

Still your VLA admin should have a way to contact NI and ask for that installer…

I think it may be difficult to obtain an old version of LabVIEW.

A few years ago, we were asked to modify an old system developed with LabVIEW 7.0, including porting Legacy DAQ to DAQmx.

We contacted our NI representative to obtain LabVIEW 7.0 so that we could verify the system, but unfortunately, we were unable to get it.

The oldest version we have in our company is LabVIEW 8.6.
