LabVIEW DAQ card programming

I have recently started using an NI USB-6211 DAQ card on my laptop. I have the driver software installed and the DAQ is working, but when in LabVIEW main package, I dont have any functions in measurement tab or express tab to use to control the DAQ . I would appreciate some help 🙂

Did you install the DAQ drivers after installing LabVIEW?

yes i have labview with a couple of months but only recieved the daq card recently for a new project

What version of LabVIEW and what version of DAQ drivers did you install?

yes i installed labVIEW before the DAQ drivers, the version of labVIEW i have is 2012. The version of driver is NI-DAQmx 9.1.7.

That version of DAQmx is not supported with LabVIEW 2012.

Try download the newest driver, version 9.7, http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/3811/lang/en
