LabVIEWCLI Error 1039

When attempting to run a vi with the RunVI command of LabVIEW CLI using LabVIEW 2016 32bit on Windows Server 2012 I receive the following:

Error code : 1039
Error message : Call By Reference in RunExecuteOperationVI.vi->RunOperationCore.vi->RunOperation.vi->RunOperation.vi.ProxyCaller
An error occurred while running the LabVIEW CLI.

The vi I call using LabVIEW CLI runs just fine when I run it from within LabVIEW.

I think this got fixed in the latest update, can you try running the NI updater and see if that fixes the issue?

Confirmed I’m using 1.1; if there’s a is a newer version, I’m unable to find it

Try upgrading to 2018 SP1 if you can, I think thats where the bug CLI bug was fixed.

I can give that a go and report back here but I’m not able to upgrade for likely another year or so. I’d assume (hope) that the standalone CLI installer would have the fix as well though.
