LabVIEW runtime engine on firefox

Solved!
Go to solution

I can view my labview front panels using the URL created by the web publishing tool with no problem on internet explorer, but firefox is telling me I need to install a plug-in and then gives me a link to the NI website to install a run-time engine.  I have LabVIEW 8.6 installed on my computer, I thought if I had LabVIEW installed already that I wouldn't need to install a run time engine, and it worked fine on internet explorer.  It's firefox 3.6.  Do I need to install a run time engine?

thanks

It is necesary the file nplv86win32.dll that is in "\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\8.6\Browser Plugins\Mozilla"

The file nplv86win32.dl is copy in "Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Plugin"
