LabVIEW proverbs!

Quote Coq Rouge:

Using Express VIs is like peeing in your pants a cold winter day. You may get warmer for a few minutes. But after that it will be very cold.

"If in doubt, rich-click" R. Brueggman (LV Basics I June 1999)

Was the ''rich-click'' on purpose? Shouldn't it be ''right-click''? I prefer to clear my doubts with just one click.... right and left clicks confuse my mind.

Here a general social club statement as a contribution to this thread:

''I hate endless tampering with thoughtlessly overloaded products'' (found on info-labview on the 20th of April 2010)

PS: Info-labview is an excellent resource of down to earth professional advice for LabVIEW programming and it has this charming flair of a small cozy social club too.

Happy wireworks

I think everything should be inside the loop. As long as NI needs to increase revenue, a new version of LabVIEW will exist. When Reason stops, no new versions. I think the versioning is broken though; it doesn't take into consideration point releases 😄

The above VersionCALCULATOR (tm) is still in closed beta.  It is designed to run on older systems and so doesn't update the version number in real time nor allow for dynamic revenue adjustment (DRA).  Your concerns will be addressed in the next version, but only if they can be replicated.
