LabVIEW print data by using DOT MATRIX printer?

How to program in LabVIEW such that certain data can be printed out from dot matrix printer?

p/s : The dot matrix printer(EPSON-TM - U220) is connected to computer via serial port.

You use VISA functions to communicate with the serial port.

Search the example finder for "serial".

I coudn't run my serial examples in LabVIEW although I have connected the dot matrix printer to my computer.

What do you mean?  Did you get an error message?  Did the PC crash?  Did the printer go up in flames?

I found the solution~

preset the dot matrix printer as dafault printer and use an icon in LabVIEW called - Easy Text Report will do.
