I really don't know what this is but when I hit on the link given here, it says Free 6-Month Evaluation of LabVIEW Student Edition for at-home learning.

Other link says that the LabVIEW Home Bundle is not sold directly through ni.com. If the product is not available in your region through a distributor, please contact NI.

I am assuming that NI changed the Home edition name to student edition..!!?

No, the Home Edition is much newer than Student.  It can be purchased at Digilent.

LabVIEW Student Edition is for students only, whereas anyone can purchase Home for personal, non-commercial use. They are two different licenses.

Man i wish they would release the mac version for home use.  Seems like it would make sense for the home user?

I would buy this in a second but don't want to have to use a seperate computer at home just to run this.

Seeing as Apple only holds 7.4 percent of the worldwide PC market, (first quarter 2016) and probably less than 1% of that is using LabVIEW I don't see it happening soon.
