LabVIEW Core 1 Course problem

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I try to learn some more content about Labview 2020 Community Edition.  I was going through the LabVIEW Core 1 Course. It asked me to install the NI-DAQmx driver so I did.

However, I could not get the simulated device as shown in the lesson's video (attachments).

How do I correct it?  What software do I need as well?

Are you sure you installed the full DAQmx driver and not just the run-time only DAQmx driver?

Hello Fan,

I have installed the NI DAQmx driver only.  I have not selected any option included.

Is it the cause?

After I have launched NI MAX, it only shows connected devices.  I guess LabVIEW Core 1 Course requires a real NI DAQmx instrument.

I see!

I have to select the Configuration option during installation.  Then, the simulated devices will be available for use from within MAX.  😃
