I saw my sales engineer at NIWeek 06, and she mentioned she could stop by with the DVD containing 8.20. Don't know if the SSP disks will be on CD or DVD, but I'm sure glad we ordered our most recent development machines with DVD drives

I'm using Labview 8.0.1 professional development system. When I'll download 8.2 and will use serial from 8.0.1 will it work as "professional development system" or only in evaluation mode? Isn't possible to download only difference update (from 8.0.1 to 8.2)?

Hello jochynator,

As long as you have active SSP, you can download LabVIEW 8.20 and activate it with your serial number for LabVIEW Professional. There is no such a download that would only install the 8.20 updates on top of 8.0.1 (since LabVIEW 8.20 is not a patch), so you would need to download and install the whole LabVIEW 8.20.
