Keep Vi Frontmost

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all!

I Have a problem. I have a Vi - call it Top - Level VI, and have another vi - call it Lower Level. In the lower level and the Top level are running continuously, using VI server. I registered events both side of top and lower level vis. I would like to use the lower level vi as a palett... Contains the functions only, and when I select a function from lower level, the event are handled in the top level.

I have already implemented everything, but How set the lower level vi to frontmost?

 (Keep the same functionality.)

At this point, when I click on the  Top level VI , another vi goes the background....

Could you help me that how to keep the lower level vi topmost? (without setting it's property dialog as well... )

Under the vi properties, you can set it to 'floating' (dialog is 'modal').
