I am using LabVIEW 2017SP1, and have seem some mention of a 'Workspace Window' in the documentation. But I can't figure out what this is. I've seen the Project Explorer, the block diagram, the front panel, and the navigation window. But how do I open up the Workspace Window, if this is even offered in 2017?

I have been using LabVIEW since LabVIEW 5.1 and have never heard of a Workspace Window.
I am guessing they are talking about the Block Diagram window as that is the "window" I am working in the most.

I ran into the "Workspace Window" when I was googling some problems I have creating executables. Now I realize the help pages that my search was turning up (example here) all seem to mention "LabWindows/CVI", which is separate from LabVIEW, or at least I'm not using it.
So, I think you are right, there is no "Workspace Window" in LabVIEW.

Yes LabWindows CVI is an entirely different IDE and independent from LabVIEW. Programming is done in C.
