Hi Romendra,

The USB for IMAQ drivers require the following:
- Windows 2000/XP (English, Italian, Japanese, French, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish/Portuguese, Russian, and simple Chinese)
- LabVIEW 7.0 or higher with NI Vision 7.1 or higher for the USB LabVIEW support
- Vision Assistant 7.1 or higher for the USB Vision Assistant plugin module
- Vision Assistant 8.0 or higher for the USB Express VI

So, you must have LabVIEW 7.0 or higher with the Vision Development Module (also called NI Vision) 7.1 or higher. Please note that the NI-IMAQ for USB drivers REQUIRE NI Vision and will not install without it.

Thanks a lot for that initial info. One more thing though, I am trying to connect a usb camera to LabVIEW to use it as an eye of a model for a project. So what are the necessary toolbox i need to purchase with LabVIEW 7 and how can I find information about it? And also is it possible to connect two camera's via LabVIEW and be able to take and store pictures simultaneously.
It would be a great help if you can help me with this.

All you'd need is to purchase NI Vision 8.5. This will include software for capturing from CameraLink, Firewire, and other analog cameras, as well as our Vision Assistant software which provides a convenient interface for setting up image filtering. Then you can download the USB for IMAQ installer for free and it will work in LabVIEW as well.

Note that NI Vision 8.5 will not work with LabVIEW 7.0 and only works with versions 7.1 and later according to the release notes. Before going ahead with the purchase, please read over the Known Issues for NI-IMAQ for USB, as they may affect how you'd like to use the software.

To answer your other question, you can use multiple USB cameras at once with the software.

To get a quote for the NI Vision software or any of our other software or hardware, you can contact our Sales staff using the info found on our  Contact Us page. Hope that helps!
