I'm not sure if there is an app note, but the
knowlegebase does have some articles about
polar plots and the picture control.

Greetings,

I have had tremendous success with the polar plot vi supplied by NI. The only issue I am having is trying to increase the intensity of the signal. I've dug down into the sub-vi with no success. The signal is just too narrow for some people to read.

Thanks in advance for any help on this situation.

Well, I'm not exactly sure, what you mean with "intensity", but if you mean the thicknes of the plot line, you can go down  to "Polar Plot.vi" --> "Plot Polar Data.vi" and on "Draw Multiple Lines.vi" you can create at the input [Pen] a constant to set the line Width to something greater than 1.
Does this help?

greets, Dave

P.S. And YES, I also was absolutely exalted about the Polar Plot.vi, it is great work by NI.

Dave,

You're awesome man, worked like a charm. Hadn't used the pen yet, already getting ideas.

Thanks again,
