So,if we are posting examples in LV 2009 or better, the Snippet will serve mulitple needs. We can post images AND the code at the same time.

This time we will not install the Code capture tool....

Sorry TonP スマイリー ハッピー

(PS: It was a very nice feature. Thanks for sharing the code too.)

Our IT people distributed LV8.6.1 (academic site license) yesterday.  Wonder when I'll see the new version....?

Small improvement, but QuickDrop now automatically adds VIs in your project to the list of functions! This means you don't have to swap back and forth between windows to access the VIs you're working with. And you don't have to manually add things to the palette just to access them from QuickDrop.

I wonder if National Instruments will ever get around to writing a Book documenting its own LabVIEW programming language?

But it only works with pictures generated using the "snippets" feature of LV right?

Pointers, we essentially have pointers.  How cool is that?  I'm going to need a few weeks to get my head around the implications of that change.  LVOOP with References.  Oh man, I can't wait.

Thanks NI, here's hoping for a relatively bug-free system...

I just downloaded it and installed at home.

スマイリー 怒った  I Need a new multi-core processor to keep upスマイリー びっくりした

The "show terminals as icons" default needs to change IMHO, but the feel of the newer features is very natural.  the snippets will be a great boost to productivity in multi-developer projects (and WILL require me to re-write our development process but, I'll live with thatスマイリー ウインク)

Icon inconsistancy is now totaly a moot point (THANKS! its now no problem to look consistant when we ship source code!)

AND the changes to the auto-wiring options will make it much more valuable.  スマイリー ハッピー

I'm sure I can sell the upgrade to my clients as soon as Windows 7 rolls out.  (very unfortunate that the nameing convention at NI swapped paths with MS..... Maybe they were trying to follow the example of a software provider that IMPROVED the product with each rev スマイリー ウインク)
