Installing LabVIEW under Linux (Mint 13)

Hi,

I am new in this business and tried to install LabVIEW 2013 under my Linux distribution.

I followed the instruction, downloaded the zipped TAR and unpacked some RPMs.

Now the instructions told me I have to execute the INSTALL script. However, this script does not exist!!!

Maybe I behave a bit too cautious,but before I arbitrarily apply "rpm -i" to the RPMs, I would ask here for some information to find out what to do exactly and in which order.
