Initializing control reference clusters

I have several different sets of Control Referenced cluster type defs and would like to initialize them.  What is the best way to do this?

Here is an example of one I saw in a post from Ben, but I am not sure what is being doing inside the two smaller loops.  Any help is appreciated, thanks.

That is part of code generated by the State Diagram Editor, which decides what's the next state of the Case structure.

If you have references to Controls or indicators, you don't have to initialize them, LabView does that for you. And you should not close them...Smiley Happy

Well, in this case, the Cluster of control references is a Type Def.  So i must intialize the Type def in order to pass it to Sub VIs right?

Yes, I mixed up "initialize" (passing the reference value to one element of a cluster of references) with "open" the reference. I apologize...
