Initial deployment problem with Robotics Starter Kit
Hello,
I just received my new Robotics Starter Kit and have been trying to get it up and running for the last few hours. Unfortunately, I seem to have reached an impasse with the initial setup.
After unboxing, I followed all of the appropriate hardware setup steps such as charging the battery, attaching the sensor array, connecting the power cable (after charging), setting the motor and master power switches appropriately, and connecting the robot to my router via ethernet. All of this went off without a hitch. Then, I initiated the setup wizard.
In "Step 3," it successfully detected the sbRIO on the network, so I selected it as the deployment target. The wizard then moved to "Step 4" and remained on it for a few minutes while deploying the software. Ultimately, though, it jumps to "Step 5: Test" and announces the detection of an unhandled error. This is the message I received.
As instructed, I pressed the reset button on the sbRIO, waited a bit, and attempted to the deployment of again. Just as it did the previous time, the deployment proceeded quietly for a couple moments before the wizard encountered the same error (same error code, same call chain).
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? Has anyone encountered this before? I know it says I should contact NI for support if the problem continues, but apparently the Robotics Starter Kit is one of the few packages that doesn't include a year of SSP membership, so that isn't really an option.
