How to save waveform plots to file (Should be very trivial)

Guys....attached is a .vi for an oscilliscope......I'm trying to save the waveform (x and y plots) to a file....preferrably a text file but any file will do. Any help is appreciated. I think it should be very easy, but i'm just a noob labview programmer and havn't been able to find that good of documentation on file I/O. Thanks.
