How to know the clock that is working PCI NI-8517?

Hello Everybody,

I have syncronized cDaq 9188 with FlexRay. I am sharing the clock therefore I am sending 10MHZ from cDaq (I am using PFI1) to NI PCI NI-8517 (FrontPanel1).

I asking myself if there is a way o XNET to check that the clock of NIPCI -8517 is working appropriately.

Any help. it will be very helpfull.
Regards

Hi JR7,

Follow I describe the procedure of how to use the trigger of FrontPanel0 of the FlexRay NI PCI-8517 module:

1) Physically wiring the output PFI1 cDAQ 9188 to the SMB connector Front Panel 0

2) Connect the terminals
XNET Connect Terminals.vi »http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372841L-01/nixnet/xnetconnectterminalsvi/

Use that VI (XNET Connect Terminals.vi) to programmatically connect FrontPanel0 with StartTrigger

3) Examples
You can review them is following path:
C: \ Program Files (x86) \ National Instruments \ LabVIEW 20XX \ examples \ nixnet \ examples.llb
The names of the VIs in this library referring to the synchronization are those that begin with:
Synchronize FlexRay ...
Synchronize PCI-FlexRay ...

I believe you are going to complete it succesfully
