How to connect two systems using Network Streams

Hi ,

I am trying to send the data from one system to another connected in the same subnet . I am doing this using Network Streams,but the connection is not being established,I don't know if there is some configuration I need to do. Can somebody please look into this.

These are the files.When i am giving the IP as 127.0.0.1(My system),it is running fine.But when i give the IP of another,It is not transferrign any data.

Hi Power Star,

 

   I would suggest you to try with the examples that ship with NI.

 

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\examples\Network Streams\Simple Example.

 

Here you will find two vis. Run one in your PC and the other in Target PC.Check if connection is established .

 

If connection is established then you can work on changing your program.

I've tried it but nothig is happening.I gave the IP of the target in The example(Simple Generator),but the connection did not get established.

Are you getting any error ?..Are you able to ping between the two PCs ?

 

Did you check your firewall Settings?

 

[Edit]: Did you give the target ip in the display vi ?

Yes,The firewall settings worked.Thanx.Now I am trying to send the data to the Bot(still problems).
