How to connect pressure transmitter to labview

Hello,

I am new to the Lab view , so i need to connect the pressure transmitter to Lab view 2014 version .

The transmitter Omega PX119 series  4-20 mA is the out range. The input will be how and what are required to connect to lab view . Also attached the pressure transmitter data sheet

Hi mijumcn,

the sensor is a piece of hardware, and LabVIEW is software.

To "connect" both you need some kind of DAQ device!

Do you have one? Which?

You need a power supply for your sensor(s). I also recommend some accurate shunt resistors (between 220 Ohm for 5 V measurement range and 440 Ohm/10 V range)…

Best regards,
GerdW

You can use a simple USB600x device from NI. Or even a small Arduino!

It all depends on your requirements regarding accuracy, repeatability, resolution, sample rate, …
